DANIEL SAMBURSKY, MD, FACS
Dr. Sambursky is a pioneer in Laser Vision Correction. In the early 1990's he participated in the Excimer Laser surgery investigational trials and was among the first surgeons in the United States to perform LASIK surgery. Dr. Sambursky has dedicated his practice to vision correction and has performed over 30,000 LASIK surgeries.
Dr. Sambursky earned his medical degree from the SUNY Upstate Medical School. He also completed an internship at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital program in internal medicine. Dr. Sambursky was trained in ophthalmology and ocular surgery at one of the nation's top ten medical and surgical training programs; the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, where he was unanimously elected to serve as Chief Resident. Dr. Sambursky also received an additional year of training by completing a Fellowship in Refractive and Corneal surgery at the prestigious Wilmer Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital; widely regarded as the top Ophthalmology program in the world.
He served as a Resident Instructor at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, where he taught dozens of Ophthalmologists his surgical techniques in Refractive, Cataract and Corneal surgery. He continues to teach many doctors from this country and abroad his surgical techniques, while patients from around the world seek his expertise in LASIK surgery.
Dr. Sambursky has designed and patented an intraocular lens, which is used to replace the human crystalline lens during Cataract Surgery, and has also designed surgical instruments that are used during eye surgery. In addition, he was one of the first eye surgeons in the United States to remove a cataract with a laser by using a technique known a Laser Photolysis. For the past few years, he has lectured around the world on the subject of eye surgery, including LASIK and Cataract Surgery.

LESLIE Wei Patch, MD
Dr. Wei Patch specializes in Oculoplastics – surgery of the eyelids, orbit, and tear duct system. Dr. Wei Patch does both functional and cosmetic Oculoplastic surgery as well as facial fillers, botulinum toxin injections, and cataract surgery.
Dr. Wei Patch earned her medical degree from Brown University Medical School where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her transitional year internship at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Wei Patch then did a residency in ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery at University of Colorado Eye Hospital, where she was Chief Resident. She also did an additional two years of training in an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) approved fellowship at University of Wisconsin-Madison.

She has published articles on the use of botulinum toxin in hemifacial spasm, short-scar facelift technique, pediatric orbital and facial fractures, and intraocular lens fixation.
RICHARD SIMON, MD, FACS
Dr. Simon maintains his practice at Ophthalmic Associates of the Southern Tier, P.C. and is a professor of Ophthalmology at Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Simon specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases and is a veteran refractive laser surgeon. Dr. Simon is affiliated with United Health Services in Johnson City, NY and Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY. He is a member of the Academy of Ophthalmology.
GARY PISANCHYN, OD
Dr. Pisanchyn is a 1984 honors graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He joined the staff of Ophthalmic Associates of the Southern Tier, P.C. in 1987. His practice is devoted to all aspects of general optometry. He also specializes in all types of contact lenses. Dr. Pisanchyn is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association.
STEVEN GOLDENBERG, OD
Dr. Goldenberg provides primary care optometry including diagnosis and follow-up for treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, corneal disease and other conditions. He specializes in computer vision syndrome and contact lens fittings. Dr. Goldenberg is a member of the American Optometric Association, Tennessee Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association.
